Alan Bateman
Site Director – Make Asset Management, Janssen Sciences Ireland UC
Alan has over 20 years’ experience in the Pharma and Bio Pharma manufacturing industry and has held roles in validation, engineering, manufacturing systems and management. He is currently the Site Lead for Make Asset Management at Janssen Sciences Ireland and is a committee member of the ISPE Ireland section 4IR group.
Prior to Janssen, Alan worked in Ireland for Project Management Group and AVE/Medtronic.
He earned his BEng & Meng in Mechanical Engineering from Munster Technological University (formerly Cork Institute of Technology, CIT).
Alan lives in Cork, Ireland with his wife, Rachael, and 2 daughters, Freya & Nellie.
