Dr. Alexandra H. Heussner is an accomplished interdisciplinary scientist and laboratory manager within the Development Service of Vetter Pharma in Ravensburg, Germany. She is an acknowledged specialist of analytical procedure development and innovation and is a highly quotable author of numerous articles. Her field of scientific expertise includes bioanalytical technologies as well as chemical analyses. She frequently provides new solutions for complex challenges in a CDMO environment with a huge variety of sterile products, e. g. the monitoring of hydrogen peroxide in sanitization processes, of residual moisture in lyophilization process development, or of container closure integrity. She received her PhD in Applied Sciences from the University of Sunderland, UK, and after many years in academic research, she joined Vetter Pharma in 2016 and is currently involved in analytical procedure implementation, development, and validation with her team in the Analytical Science Laboratory.
