Amanat is a Professional Engineer with design and process experience in cGMP manufacturing environments, including cell gene therapy, vaccine, API, and fill-finish manufacturing facilities. Currently, she is a Bioprocess Engineer with Hyde Engineering + Consulting. Her experience includes engineering support for processes, utilities, and automation (IT/OT).
She is proficient at leading projects, meeting project timelines, and working with cross-functional teams. With extensive management experience, she is adept at guiding teams, fostering improvement, and strategic decision-making. She graduated with a master’s degree (thesis-based) in Bioresource Engineering from McGill University.
Amanat is passionate and driven to break barriers, foster growth, and make a positive impact. She spends a lot of her time volunteering for different non-profit organizations. Her active volunteer roles include serving on the Executive Board for ISPE Canada Affiliate, and North America South America (NASA) Emerging Leader Chair and Biotech CoP advisory board member for ISPE Global.
She is also an Engineer-In-Residence with Engineers of Tomorrow where she helps promote STEM amongst the younger generation. Amanat supports these organizations to keep advocating for excellence while inspiring others to chase their aspirations and create meaningful change.
