Andrew Brewer

Andy Brewer has degrees in chemical engineering and biochemical engineering, and has been working at Genentech/Roche for the past 24 years. His engineering and manufacturing background is primarily based in Biologics Drug Substance (DS), but through his leadership of global Roche cleaning, sterilization, and adventitious agents control technical teams, he has expanded his knowledge base and influence to Drug Product manufacturing, synthetic molecules, packaging, and devices. For the past several years, he has been leading a project to standardize cleaning processes and validation across the Roche network to accelerate product tech transfers and reduce validation burden at the site level.
