Bertie Daly

Bertie Daly – Head of Manufacturing -Cell Therapy Takeda based in Grange Castle Dublin who has worked in the Biopharmaceutical industry since 2001. He is a graduate of Sligo University with a BSc in Biopharmaceutical Processing and completing an MSc in Strategic Growth & Innovation in University College Dublin. He worked in Operations in MSD (Brinny) for 10 years. Joined the Wyeth start up in Grange castle in Operations for 9 years. He transferred to Alexion as part of a brown field start up in Athlone Ireland as associate Director of Operations. Bertie has worked with several of the large multinationals in Biopharmaceuticals involved in 6 start up facilities for DS, DP including vial fill and syringe fill and most recently cell therapy. Since Dec 2018 Bertie has worked in Takeda GC initially as an Operations Manager promoted in 2019 to Head of manufacturing responsible for Operations and Technical Transfer teams.
