Chris Ramsey brings nearly 30 years of expertise in life sciences and clinical diagnostics to the pharmaceutical conference stage. His career began as a doctoral research fellow in human genetics, where he studied genes linked to autoimmunity. He later earned an NIH-funded postdoctoral fellowship in immunology at the Scripps Research Institute, focusing on T-cell homeostasis. Over the past 17 years, Chris has specialized in clinical chemistry and microbiology diagnostics, championing advancements in automation to enhance laboratory efficiency and accuracy. As Business Development Director at Clever Culture Systems for the past five years, he has contributed to the adoption and integration of cutting-edge AI-based technologies into culture plate reading, redefining diagnostic workflows. In recent years, Chris has dedicated his efforts to bring the APAS Independence technology to the pharmaceutical market to improve the workflow in the environmental monitoring laboratories.
