Christoph Koeth

Christoph Koth currently heads the innovation group located at the Fresenius Kabi sterile manufacturing plant of drug products in Graz, Austria. Before joining Fresenius Kabi, Christoph gained more than 20 years of experience in the pharma industry in different roles, ranging from Head of QA and Head of Production and Engineering. Deep involvement in managing central IT systems not only helped him finance his studies in chemical engineering (MSc, University Linz) and business administration (MSc, University Linz and MBA, University of Cincinnati) but also helped him found an IT startup. In his current role, Christoph and his team focus on rethinking current practices and implementing process innovations using new technologies including artificial intelligence. He and his group also develop innovative technology enabling next generation production methods primarily targeted at sterile (and complex) products. He has been an ISPE member since 2019.
