Chris Grail has been the Engineering and Maintenance Excellence Lead at Bayer Pharmaceuticals since 2021, leading a critical function that serves as a key partner for development, manufacturing, and CapEx investment activities within Product Supply. In this role, Chris is guiding the organization through a transformation process alongside Bayer’s Dynamic Shared Ownership (DSO) journey. ? With more than 25 years of experience, Chris is a highly accomplished engineer who has held a variety of global positions across the Royal Navy, fast-moving consumer goods companies, and the pharmaceutical industry. Throughout Chris’s career—as an operational engineer, consultant, and leader in international operations and technical organizations—Chris has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to bringing together the right people and capabilities, fostering collaboration, leveraging synergies, and applying lean approaches to solve challenges and deliver efficient outcomes with products and patients at the center.
