Courtney serves as BE&K Building Group's Vice President of Client Growth & Strategies. BE&K is an integrated construction services company that offers a comprehensive range of services, including preconstruction, design-build, construction management, and program management, serving life sciences, aviation + aerospace, industrial + manufacturing, mission critical, food + beverage, and additional select commercial markets nationwide for more than 55 years. Courtney manages the company’s national business development team to strategically promote sales across the company’s various markets. She regularly works with a long list of clients that includes Alexandria Real Estate Equities, Beam Therapeutics, Biogen, Eli Lilly, Fujifilm Diosynth Biotechnologies, King Street Properties, Novo Nordisk, Pfizer, CSL Seqirus, and Thermo Fisher, among others. Before joining BE&K, Courtney served as Director of Projects & Prospects for the North Carolina Biotechnology Center (NCBiotech), headquartered in Research Triangle Park. Prior to joining NCBiotech, she served as Director of Community Relations and Communications for the Virginia Biotechnology Research Park in Richmond. In that role, she was responsible for promoting the park’s benefits and its 60-plus companies to community leaders, elected officials, and decision-makers. Courtney has represented the business interests of various pharmaceutical and healthcare trade associations at the law firm Troutman Pepper Locke and is a graduate of James Madison University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
