Daniel L. D'Aquila PE

Dan D’Aquila is Director of Project Management at CDI Life Sciences in Philadelphia and led the architectural & engineering team on GSK’s building 38 GMP compliance renovation project. He has managed the engineering and construction of capital projects for pharmaceutical and biotech clients for over 18 years with the last 9 years for CDI Life Sciences. Projects have included pilot, clinical, and commercial scale manufacturing facilities for APIs, vaccines, cell culture, and microbial products. D’Aquila has international experience with projects in Europe and Asia. In Europe, he helped to launch two separate engineering offices that supplied services to local pharmaceutical and biotech markets in the UK and Germany. D’Aquila began his career 24 years ago as process engineer in a research and development environment prior to entering the A&E professional services sector in 1989. He is a registered professional engineer and has BS and MS degrees in chemical engineering from the University of Connecticut.
