Frank Vanermen, MSc, MBA Senior Vice President & Cluster Lead – CapEx Delivery Frank Vanermen is Senior Vice President and Cluster Lead for CapEx Delivery, where he oversees major capital investment programs and drives strategic execution across global manufacturing and supply organizations. In this role, he leads large, cross-functional teams and ensures the successful delivery of complex, high-value projects that enable long-term business growth, operational excellence, and innovation. With more than two decades of experience in the life sciences and pharmaceutical engineering sectors, Frank has built a strong track record in program management, capital project leadership, and transformation delivery. His career spans multiple countries, giving him broad international experience and a deep understanding of cultural, regulatory, and operational diversity in global environments. Frank holds a Master of Science in Engineering and an MBA, combining a strong technical background with strategic business expertise. This uniquely positions him at the intersection of engineering, operations, and executive leadership. Alongside his corporate responsibilities, Frank is committed to the development of future leaders in the industry. He served as a Guest Professor at the University, where he teached and mentored students in areas related to project management, leadership, and life-science operations. He is also actively involved in shaping industry standards and recognizing global excellence. As an ISPE FOYA (Facility of the Year Awards) Judge, he evaluates groundbreaking projects and contributes to highlighting the most innovative achievements in pharmaceutical facility design and operations.
