Hamid Teimourian

Hamid Teimourian is the Site Energy (Sustainability) Program Lead and oversees energy conservation and carbon reduction projects implementation at AstraZeneca's largest manufacturing plant in the USA . He is leading a multi million dollars program as part of AstraZeneca’s $1bn ‘Ambition Zero Carbon’ strategy to eliminate emissions by 2025 and be carbon negative across the entire value chain by 2030. Before this role, he was Facilities & PMO Director and a member of the site leadership team (SLT) for AstraZeneca operation in California. Hamid is an active member of ISPE and currently is a member of the ISPE Guidance Document Committee (GDC). In this role, he acts on behalf of ISPE in the development of Guidance Documents, reviews and provides input on all documents submitted to GDC and advises on the Guidance Document Portfolio. Hamid was in the core team of authors for ISPE Equipment Reliability and ISPE Maintenance (2nd Edition) Good Practice Guides. He also served on ISPE-CBA board of directors and co-chaired the education committee during the year 2020!
