Dr. Iván C. Martínez, PhD. is the Sr Vice-President of Quality and Research & Development for Leiters Health. He has over 34 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device and nutraceutical industries with roles of higher responsibilities in manufacturing, quality assurance/control and regulatory affairs. Dr. Martínez also served as Vice President of Quality and Regulatory Affairs at International Vitamin Corporation where he was responsible of the implementation of the entire quality strategic plan. Other previous experiences; Sr Director Manufacturing Quality at Fresenius Medical Care, Sr Director Quality Operations at Aesculap/BBraun, Sr Director Quality Systems at Covidien, and other leadership roles at Pfizer, JNJ, and Heartware. He holds a BS degree in Chemical Engineering, MS in Technology Management, and a PhD in Plastic Engineering (Polymers).
