James Stephanou

James (Jim) Stephanou has been with Merck since August of 2015 and is responsible for the Global Engineering Solutions group. This global team implements capital projects, primarily for the Merck Manufacturing Division and for Merck Research Labs with an annual capital spend of $4B. Key office locations are in West Point PA, Rahway NJ, Ireland, Singapore and the Netherlands. Prior to joining Merck, Jim worked for Bayer for over 14 years in various locations and technical roles in commercial, engineering and manufacturing. In addition, Jim started his career in the petro-chemical industry in the US Gulf Coast, in various engineering and manufacturing leadership roles in the US and global locations.
