Janik Kiefer, PhD

Janik Kiefer holds a master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering and began his career as a research specialist at Princeton University, where he developed a strong interest in experimental aerodynamics. He went on to pursue a Ph.D. at the Technical University of Denmark in collaboration with Princeton. After completing his doctorate, he joined the Technology Innovation department at Novo Nordisk, supporting the development of new technologies for aseptic production. Two years later, he co-founded POUL with former colleague Julie Rank to improve cleanroom operations through purpose-built autonomous mobile robots for pharmaceutical manufacturing.
