Janik Kiefer, PhD

With an M.Sc. in Aerospace Engineering, Janik Kiefer began his career as a research specialist at Princeton University. This experience sparked a deeper interest in experimental aerodynamics, leading to a Ph.D. pursued at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) in collaboration with Princeton. Following the completion of his doctorate, Janik joined the Technology Innovation department at Novo Nordisk, which is focused on identifying, developing, and implementing cutting-edge technologies for aseptic pharmaceutical production worldwide. After two years at Novo Nordisk, Janik co-founded POUL with former colleague Julie Rank, aiming to revolutionize cleanroom operations through the development of autonomous mobile robots tailored specifically for pharmaceutical environments.
