Jose A. Caraballo

Jose Antonio Caraballo Oramas is a global quality and compliance leader with more than 25 years of experience in pharmaceutical and biotechnology manufacturing. He has led enterprise quality systems, inspection readiness programs, and contamination control strategies across complex, highly regulated environments, including advanced therapy medicinal products. Jose serves on the ISPE International Board of Directors and is Executive Program Chair for the 2026 ISPE Annual Meeting & Expo. He chairs the ISPE Guidance Document Committee and has contributed to multiple industry guidance documents. He is also a member of the PDA ATMP Advisory Board and holds ASQ certifications as a Quality Engineer, Quality Auditor, and Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence.
