Karine Stephens

Karine Stephens is the Head of Strategy and Business Excellence for Global Manufacturing Supply at Takeda. She has played a key role in shaping Takeda’s Factory of the Future to unlock value through a strategic digital transformation driven by a patient and people centric framework. Karine joined Takeda in 2015 and has 25+ years of biopharmaceutical experience in site-based, regional and global roles across multiple modalities leading Quality and Operational teams.
Karine holds an Executive MBA from Suffolk University in Boston, studied Quality Assurance Management at University of Manitoba, Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing at the University of Rhode Island and Upstream Processing at the Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
Karine enjoys running, hiking, reading and spending time with her family.
