Mr. Keith W. Weseli CPIP

Keith Weseli currently serves as Commissioning and Qualification Project Director for Stevanato Group at their new Fishers, IN site and has provided commissioning, qualification, validation, and engineering support for projects with Amgen, Eli Lilly & Co., Shire (now Takeda), Xellia, and Baxalta (now Takada) since 2004. Weseli’s project work has included commissioning biotech microfiltration skids, cleaning validation, commissioning and qualifying powder vial filling equipment, cartridge filling and syringe filling equipment. He has served as C&Q lead for multiple aseptic filling C&Q projects. He also co-authored the article “Case Study: Parenteral Facility Upgrade Project with Fill Line Install” which appeared in the June/July 2008 issue of Pharmaceutical Engineering. Prior to his work in the pharmaceutical industry, Weseli served as a submarine officer in the U.S. Navy for seven years and retired from reserve naval service in 2018. He has a B.S. in mathematics from Vanderbilt University, a M.B.A. from the University of Rhode Island, and was certified as a Nuclear Engineering Officer by Naval Reactors.
