Maria Hoffman is the Advanced Manufacturing Technology Head and Executive Director, Small Molecule Science and Technology at Merck. Maria has held various positions within Merck during her over 30 year tenure including Process Engineering Head, Network Lead, and Value Chain Lead. Maria earned a B.S in Chemical Engineering from Rutgers College of Engineering. In her current position, Maria is responsible for identifying and driving alignment and realization for new manufacturing technologies in Merck’s Global Pharmaceutical Operations. She is currently focused on realization of a number of new technologies including PODs and continuous manufacturing.
