Maritza Lopez

Maritza Lopez-Gonzalez is Executive Director of Engineering Projects at Amgen, where she leads the Ohio site’s capital project portfolio supporting manufacturing and infrastructure expansion. With 22 years of experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry, she has held roles across laboratories, learning and development, manufacturing operations, and capital project execution. Maritza is recognized for leading complex projects in highly regulated environments and for serving as an ISPE speaker during the COVID-19 pandemic, where she shared lessons learned from one of the industry’s first fully virtual Factory Acceptance Tests. In her current role, she focuses on disciplined project delivery, cross-functional collaboration, and developing teams that enable the successful delivery of facilities and equipment supporting patient medicines.
