Markus Burkert

Markus Burkert (Product manager) has a degree in industrial engineering. After university he worked a couple of years as a project manager in the oil and gas industry till, he changed into the pharmaceutical packaging industry where he worked 6,5 years as a project manager for pharmaceutical packaging machines. In January 2023 he joined Syntegon as a product manager for sustainable pharmaceutical filling machines. This includes the whole Syntegon pharma portfolio.

His focus is the successful implementation of the CO2 footprint calculation for all the Syntegon pharma processing machines including the full support for our customers. This includes the identification of possible CO2 levers, derive the necessary modifications on the machine and establishing a continuous improvement of the standardization of the machine platforms.
