Markus Zeitz, PhD

Dr. Markus Zeitz is an experienced pharmaceutical quality and digital transformation leader with over two decades of experience in the industry. Since 2023, he has served as Head of Digital Quality at Takeda, steering Takeda Quality’s global data, digital, and technology agenda to accelerate quality transformation. Zeitz emphasizes the need for standardized, cloud based quality systems and solid data governance to unlock the potential of AI and other advanced digital tools. In addition to his corporate role, he chairs the ISPE working group responsible for the upcoming Good Practice Guide for Digital Quality, demonstrating his commitment to industry leadership and best-practice development.
