Matthew Poch
Associate Director, Alnylam Pharmaceuticals
Matthew Poch is the Associate Director of Quality Control at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, with more than 25 years of experience in microbiology and contamination control. He specializes in building risk-based, phase-appropriate monitoring programs that support product quality and patient safety. A passionate advocate for continuous learning, Matt currently chairs the ISPE Boston Chapter’s Educational Programs Committee and is an active member of the Parenteral Drug Association (PDA). He is also a contributing author to the upcoming revision of the ISPE Good Practice Guide: Sampling for Pharmaceutical Water, Steam, and Process Gases (v2.0). Matt holds a BS in Biology from UMass Dartmouth, an MS in Microbiology from UMass Amherst, and an MBA from Clark University.
