Peter Jacobi

Peter Jacobi is a data scientist at Syncwork AG and specialises in predictive analytics with a focus on data-driven decision-making. In his current position, he develops and validates predictive models, applies advanced natural language processing techniques and evaluates methods for generating synthetic data. He is actively involved in the VICT3R project (Developing and implementing VIrtual Control groups To reducE animal use in toxicology Research), a public-private partnership funded by the Innovative Health Initiative (IHI). As part of this project, he contributes to the AI based development of virtual control groups (VCGs) with the aim of reducing the use of animals in toxicology research while improving scientific outcomes and supporting the 3Rs principles (replacement, reduction, refinement). In addition, he has gained project experience working with leading pharmaceutical companies such as Bayer and Merck, where he has supported data science initiatives at the intersection of analytics, regulatory science and applied research.
