Rasmus Mejborg Borup is a Software Engineer & Science Lead at grit42, where he builds data management software for the pharmaceutical industry. His work focuses on turning scientific requirements into robust systems that support digital and scalable R&D. He is actively involved in the VICT3R project (Developing and implementing VIrtual Control groups To reducE animal use in toxicology Research), a public-private partnership funded by the Innovative Health Initiative (IHI). The aim is to produce virtual control groups (VCGs), reducing the use of animals in toxicology research while improving scientific outcomes and supporting the 3Rs principles (replacement, reduction, refinement).
