Ravi Yalamanchili is currently the AVP of Digital Quality & Labs in Digital MMD. He joined the Merck Team in August 2020. He leads MMD Labs and Quality Operations foundational transformation that provides a fair day of work to our lab analysts and shopfloor quality ops team members. His transformation strategy is centered around simplification, standardization and optimization resulting in standard data structures that will enable our teams to build and industrialize AI/ML based data driven decisions. Ravi has 20+ years of experience in the biopharmaceutical, tech start-ups and cell/gene therapy industries. Prior to joining Merck, Ravi ran a software startup that focused on building data-driven care pathways for orthopaedic patients. He also led IT function for Juno Therapeutics’ cell/gene manufacturing, labs, and more importantly patient-to patient supply chain solutions necessary for Individualized medicine. Prior to that, Ravi worked for Amgen in various roles from technology delivery to leading business services. Ravi lives in Collegeville, PA, with his wife and son. He enjoys Hot Wheels treasure hunting with his son, exploring food scene around the area with his wife and occasional cooking.
