Robin Kay Blankenbaker

Robin has over 20 years of experience in the life sciences. Starting her career in pharmaceutical research and development, she made the move to medical device product development. Eventually, Robin became a student of regulations and chose to pursue a career operationalizing quality assurance. As Vice President of Quality at W.L. Gore & Associates Medical, she introduced a program to increase Business Process Maturity. While completing her MSE degree in , Robin shifted her focus to identifying and implementing software systems that complete a digital thread from R&D through Clinical Trials and Adverse Events in Pharmaceuticals. In the complex product lifecycle of pharmaceuticals, data gaps are a persistent problem and represent significant opportunity loss. Robin's work has focused on identifying and closing those gaps to help speed innovation and ensure quality excellence.
