Rohit Lokhande

As a Senior Continuous Manufacturing Manager in the Advanced Manufacturing Technologies (AMT) department at the United States Pharmacopeia (USP), Rohit serves as a subject matter expert (SME) in Pharmaceutical Continuous Manufacturing (PCM) and supply chain solutions. His role involves leveraging expertise in process chemistry, Key Starting Materials (KSM), Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs), and Pharmaceutical Continuous Manufacturing (PCM) to develop and deliver technical solutions that strengthen the resiliency of the U.S. supply chain for high-quality medicines. He is also responsible for advancing USP’s PCM initiatives, focusing on enhancing the organization’s capabilities to promote supply chain resilience, address drug shortages, and facilitate the broader adoption of PCM practices. In his previous roles, he worked closely with interdisciplinary teams of scientists and engineers to develop innovative solutions for complex chemical problems. Rohit holds a master’s degree in Organic Chemistry from the University of Mumbai, India, and has extensive experience designing and implementing scalable, cost-efficient continuous flow processes.
