Rolf Helge Traut

Rolf Helge Traut, OpU Lead Automation Engineer for Small Molecules and Oncology within Takeda GMS Organization brings over 35 years of experience in different industries including (Bio)Pharma, food, mineral and mining and a global automation vendor. During this time, he held various leading positions in material flow planning and simulation, project and program management, building automation, maintenance and global engineering. He holds a degree in electrical engineering from the Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany. In his current corporate position, he acts as a single point of contact between the global and the site automation organizations supporting the rollout of global initiatives to the sites and feeding back requirements and requests from the sites to the global teams. He actively participates in conferences and industry events to promote new technologies and standards towards Industry 4.0 and IoT applications and is one of the authors of the ISPE Plug&Produce concept papers.
