Shivani Karnik

Shivani moved to Copenhagen from India in 2019 for MSc in Pharmaceutical Sciences at University of Copenhagen. She has been working as a scientist in product lifecycle management for injectable diabetes and obesity products at Novo Nordisk since 2024. Shivani enjoys inventing recipes that she never remembers to write down, practicing yoga, going for brunch or coffee with friends and is presently learning improv. Coming from a polar opposite culture, it has been a long journey to adapt her ideas, thoughts and perspective across continents and become a Dan-Indian. Inspired by a line from a colleague, she often thinks “Who cares where I belong?? I exist!”.
