Simeon is a Bachelor of Pharmacy with a Master’s Degree in Biochemical Engineering, registered as a pharmacist in 1994 and is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chemical Engineers. Starting at the MHRA in 2003 with the clinical trials unit, just prior the introduction of the Clinical Trials Directive, Simeon has accumulated diverse and extensive regulatory experience spanning clinical trials and marketing authorisations for products derived from small chemical entities and those of biological / biotechnological origin.
Previous to joining the MHRA Simeon has held positions as a biochemical engineer in the biopharmaceuticals manufacturing sector and a number of pharmacist led roles within the secondary healthcare system including radiopharmacy, clinical pharmacy and manufacturing / preparative services.
