Stephan Heck

Dr. Stephan Heck, joined Bipso GmbH in 2020 as Site Quality Director. Bipso manufactures sterile contrast media for parenteral applications as part of the Bracco Group, Italy. From 2018 -2020 he worked in a similar role with Catalent, Eberbach a CMO manufacturing soft gel caps. Before, from 2006 to 2018 he owned a Corporate role with DSM Nutritional Products, Switzerland taking care for the Quality of vitamins, carotenoids and nutritional lipids serving the entire Life Science markets. From 2002 to 2006 he managed the global SHEQ group (Safety, Health, Environment and Quality) of Cognis – today part of BASF. Before, he owned various positions as plant and QC manager at Cognis/Henkel in Düsseldorf and Malaysia. He studied Chemistry at the University of Cologne and finished his PhD in Metalorganic Chemistry with collaborations with microelectronic industry in 1990. At the very beginning of his career he was educated as a lab worker in the petrochemical industry.
