Stephen Judd

Stephen Judd is a Chartered Chemical Engineer and is Secretary of the IChemE Biochemical Engineering Special Interest Group (BESIG). He is an experi-enced technical manager and principal process engineer with more than 15 years of experience in process engineering and facility design, mainly in biotech projects, and is experienced in all project stages from feasibility study to commissioning and qualification. Stephen has worked with a wide range of clients to develop suitable designs for clinical trial phase operations through commercial-scale facilities. He has extensive experience with facil-ity design, process systems design and scale-up, and process technology selection for hard-piped and single-use systems. His focus area is cell and gene therapy and his current role is the Process SME–Biologics/Cell and Gene Therapy for DPS Group’s European Operations. He has been an ISPE member since 2016.
