Susanne Hundsbaek-Pedersen

Susanne Hundsbaek-Pedersen serves as the EVP and Global Head of Pharma Technical Operations at Roche. In this capacity, she is responsible for a network of multiple manufacturing sites across twelve global locations, overseeing the delivery of Roche’s clinical pipeline and commercial portfolio, which encompasses Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls (CMC), Device Development, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain Management. Susanne joined Roche in January 2021, following a distinguished career in the electronics industry and, subsequently, at Novo Nordisk. Her leadership experience spans diverse functions, including Finance, Information Technology (IT), Sourcing, and multiple Senior Vice President roles covering Supply Chain Management, External Manufacturing, Devices, and, most recently, Product Supply for Diabetes Products. She is a highly experienced Operations leader known for driving innovation and efficiency within complex, large-scale organizations. Furthermore, she has held non-executive board positions and currently serves on the board of Medmix AG and as an advisor to DAA Capital. Guided by a people-first philosophy,Susanne operates under the principle: “If you want to travel fast, go alone; if you want to travel far, go together.” She is recognized for cultivating inclusive environments that encourage the contribution of diverse perspectives. A native of Denmark, Ms. Hundsbaek-Pedersen holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from IMD Business School in Lausanne, Switzerland.
