Victor Bechmann

Victor Bechmann is Medicines Inspector at the Danish Medicines Agency (DKMA) and a former AI Validation Lead, specializing in AI/ML model validation in GMP. With a background as a pharmacist, former Head of Quality, and over a decade of IT validation experience, he bridges the areas of GMP, AI and IT. His former work includes hands-on validation of vision ML/DL systems and Large Language Model-powered batch documentation review solutions. Victor is an active educator for both industry professionals and regulators on AI, GMP, and Validation topics in Denmark and beyond. He previously lead the ISPE AI Audit Preparation Sub-group within the ISPE AI Community of Practice, and is a member of the GAMP AI SiG and is Lead Author on controlling LLMs in GMP for decision-making, published in the GAMP issue of Pharmaceutical Engineering in Jan/Feb 2026.
