William Clark

Dr. William Clark is currently Professor of Engineering Practice in the Davidson School of Chemical Engineering at Purdue University. Prior to joining Purdue in 2017, he spent more than 20 years in the dialysis industry, working primarily for Baxter Healthcare and subsidiaries. Dr. Clark has focused on renal replacement therapy for both acute kidney injury and end-stage renal disease during his career with specific areas of interest being dialysis membrane properties, kinetics of solute removal, and continuous renal replacement therapy. He has published over 130 papers and book chapters on these topics and given more than 250 invited presentations around the world. Dr. Clark has B.S. and M.S. degrees in chemical engineering from Purdue and received his internal medicine and nephrology training at Indiana University.
