Xia Huang

Dr. Xia Huang is a Project Manager at DEKRA Certification Inc., supporting CE certification of medical devices under the EU regulatory framework. With over 10 years of technical experience in AI-driven medical imaging software, he combines deep technical expertise with regulatory knowledge in the assessment of AI-based medical devices. He is a qualified TD reviewer and has reviewed 15+ SaMD technical files. Prior to DEKRA, he led and contributed to the development of advanced ML/DL algorithms for pulmonary CT imaging, with products achieving FDA 510(k) clearance. Dr. Huang holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering and is passionate about bridging innovation and regulatory compliance for safe and effective AI technologies.
