Yolanda McLean

Yolanda McLean is the Senior Director of Quality Control & Quality Strategic Operations Lead at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals. With an unwavering passion for helping people, she has cultivated a 20+ year career in the biopharmaceutical industry. In her current role, Yolanda provides strategic and technical leadership for designing, implementing, executing, and maintaining QC systems that support the development, technology transfer, method implementation, testing, and delivery of RNAi therapeutics. Additionally, in her role as the Quality Strategic Operations Lead, she ensures seamless operational efficiency and supports the execution of quality initiatives.

Yolanda has been a dedicated member of ISPE for the past 5 years, first co-chairing the ISPE Boston Chapter’s Women In Pharma committee and recently as the ISPE Boston Chapter’s Board of Director's Liaison to the Ethnocultural, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (EDEI) Committee. She is also a sitting Steering Committee member for international ISPE Women In Pharma. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Ocean Studies from Maine Maritime Academy and has earned Strategic Women Leadership certifications from the University of California – Berkeley and Simmons College.

Outside of work, Yolanda loves spending quality time with her family, dogs, and cats. She is also passionate about volunteering in STEM outreach activities, traveling, and cooking. Yolanda’s journey is fueled by her purpose of helping people find and manage their career spark, blending her personal and professional experiences to drive her passion for people, leadership, and achieving outstanding operational results
