Thomas Viertel

Thomas Viertel is Head of Life Sciences at VTU Group GmbH. He has in-depth experience in managing capital projects in Asia as well as Europe, which includes biopharma manufacturing, FMCG industry, medical device manufacturing, nutritional industry as well as R&D laboratories. His involvement in numerous large capex life sciences projects has provided him with a deep understanding of innovative process system design, facility design and construction interfacing as well as translating owner’s requirements into cost effective design criteria’s. His experience with both owner and contractor organization, includes the development and implementation of contracting strategies to meet the needs of the diverse range of projects he has managed.
