Joseph Medendorp PhD

Joseph Medendorp is the Senior Director of Technical Operations Analytical at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, focusing on new global product commercialization and lifecycle management of marketed Vertex products. The group is responsible for commercial quality control, release and stability testing, analytical trending/investigations and manufacturing support, and building/automating the spectroscopic and soft-sensor IPC and RTRT methods used on the Vertex internal and external continuous manufacturing platforms. Prior to joining Vertex, Joseph was a research scientist with the Oral and Respiratory Product Development group at Schering-Plough and Merck.
