We are a group of 59 5th year pharmacy students form the University of Paris-Saclay in the Industry/Research sector. During a very prestigious exercice organized by the University called the "Case Study", we are given the opportunity to "create" a fictional company that is launching a product in the market. We decided to develop a product using the mRNA technology coding for the CFTR canal altered in the Cystic Fibrosis disease. Indeed, we are aiming to develop and commercialize a product destined to be nebulized into the airways of Cystic Fibrosis patients to cure the lungs, responsible for 90% of the morbid-mortality of the disease. We aren't creating the product for real but we are describing all the different steps from the research and development activities to the post-market studies.
