Raymond Ducoat

Ray Ducoat is a Director of the Process Operations team within the Bioprocess Clinical Manufacturing & Technology department at the Merck & Co. West Point, PA site. He holds a MS degree in Pharmaceutical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Rutgers University. Ray has over 20 years of experience across multiple modalities: small molecules, biologics, and vaccines, holding positions in process development, technical operations, and manufacturing. He now manages a diverse staff of engineers and biological scientists tasked with scale up and production of Merck’s vaccine clinical pipeline. Ray also currently acts as the Capital Project Team Lead for a multi-million dollar compliance upgrade project designed to update the existing clinical facility to current standards, while simultaneously continuing to manufacture GMP clinical vaccine supplies.
