Andres Angelani

Andres Angelani is the Global Head of Digital Engineering at Cognizant, a leading provider of information technology, consulting and business process services. He is a proven leader at blending design and engineering disciplines that not only boost business performance, but also help organizations build modern business that can seize the potential of the digital revolution.

Andres joined Softvision, a privately held software product engineering firm, as CEO in 2017. When Andres joined Softvision, the company had 1,500 global employees with annual revenue of $150 million. Softvision was acquired by Cognizant in 2018. Through organic growth and acquisition, Cognizant Softvision has evolved to become the Integrated Digital Engineering arm of Cognizant, employing more than 31,000 people globally. Today, under Andres’ leadership, Cognizant Softvision combines impressive digital consulting, product design and engineering capabilities with deep industry expertise.

In 2020, Andres was named the 2020 Gold Stevie Award winner in the ‘Executive of the Year’ category by The International Business Awards. He has written two books on Digital Innovation, both of which received international recognition. He is recognized as a thought leader and frequent speaker, serving on the Alliance of Chief Executives and the Forbes Technology Council.

Andres currently lives in New York and has American, Italian and Argentinean citizenships. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from University of Belgrano in Buenos Aires. He enjoys cross-fit training, running, skiing with his wife, Laura, and their four kids. He is also passionate about classical music and has played the piano from a very young age.
