Sue Marrichi

Sue Marrichi leads Engineering and Facilities for Ultragenyx GMP sites. During her time at Ultragenyx, Sue and her team have supported the design, buildout, and operations of a GMP QC lab in Woburn, MA, as well as the company’s first internal manufacturing facility, a greenfield site, in Bedford, MA. Upon completion of the site, Sue will continue to lead the engineering and maintenance operations for clinical and commercial manufacture of the company’s portfolio of gene therapies. With almost 20 years across biopharmaceutical development and manufacturing, Sue is passionate about flexible manufacturing and has extensive experience using single use systems to enable streamlined technology transfers to ultimately deliver life-changing treatments to patients as quickly as possible.
