Caroline Rocks is a Senior Program Manager within AbbVie’s Internal Manufacturing and Engineering organization. Caroline has over 15 years of experience in the industry, she started her career in Jacobs in process and facility design from concept to construction and subsequently worked for Pfizer, Bristol Myers Squibb and Mylan’s Irish manufacturing facilities in the areas of design, technology transfer, commissioning, qualification and validation of small and large molecule API, OSD and fill finish projects.
Caroline then moved into Mylan’s global engineering programs developing and delivering capital projects and manufacturing strategies in their global biosimilars portfolio working in India, Malaysia, USA and Poland.
In 2018, Caroline joined AbbVie’s global engineering organization and now holds a senior position in AbbVie’s program management organization.
A Chartered Engineer with first class honours in both her Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering and her Master’s degree in biopharmaceutical engineering from University College Dublin, Ireland, Caroline lectures at University College Dublin School of Chemical and Bioprocess Engineering and the National Institute for Bioprocessing Research and Training (NIBRT).
Caroline is currently serving her first term on the ISPE International Board of Directors.
