Thibaud Du Merle
SVP - Chief Quality Officer, Biocon Biologics
Thibaud du Merle joined Biocon Biologics on April 15th, 2020 as Chief Quality Officer with global responsibility for all Quality Operations throughout the value chain.
He started his career in manufacturing operations with Pfizer, then moved on to QC, Production support and Engineering with Novo Nordisk, then on to Corporate QA with Bristol-Myers-Squibb. He continued his professional path with Ipsen, setting up and leading global Quality and CMC-Regulatory functions, achieving successful filing of 3 new products and FDA approval of manufacturing facilities. In his last role with Ipsen, he was driving Technical Operations strategy and transformation towards manufacturing and supply excellence.
Prior to joining Biocon Biologics, his last assignment was with Novasep as Head of Quality, Biologic Operations.
A French citizen and a Pharm. D., Thibaud also holds an MBA and is a lean six-sigma Black Belt certified professional.
