Andy Stober

Andrew Stober is chief manufacturing officer at Encoded Therapeutics. He was previously SVP and Chief Technical Officer at Novartis, responsible for leadership of all gene therapy manufacturing, program management, engineering, and supply chain operations. Before that, in a series of leadership roles at AveXis, he supported the evolution of corporate manufacturing capabilities for the gene therapy portfolio as it moved from clinical development through product launch. Prior to AveXis is, Mr. Stober served in multiple senior manufacturing roles at Biogen, culminating as senior director of manufacturing. He also held positions at Merck & Co. Mr. Stober earned his B.S. in chemical engineering at Lehigh University.
