Soren Thuesen Pedersen

Søren Thuesen Pedersen is a Senior Director at Novo Nordisk. He is a Chemical Engineer by education and has been working 31 years in Novo Nordisk and 37 years in the pharmaceutical industry in total. During that that time he has been engaged and lead different areas within QA, Manufacturing, QC-Laboratory and CMC Manufacturing Development. He has been one of the founding fathers of the Novo Nordisk External Requirements’ Process; How does Novo Nordisk ensure compliance of new external requirements and trends? Mr. Pedersen is responsible for the Advocacy and External Representation in Novo Nordisk out of the Q&GMP area and represents Novo Nordisk in ISPE, EFPIA, IFPMA, IQ Consortium, LiF-Denmark and BIO. He has furthermore been member of the Novo Nordisk Board of Directors and the Board of the Novo Nordisk Foundation for 12 years as an elected employee representative. He served in the planning committee for the ISPE EU 2025 Annual Meeting in London and serves on the planning committee for the ISPE EU Annual Meeting Copenhagen 2026 conference. His spare time interests include Danish and EU Politics. And some more relaxed fun stuff too such as classical music, Eurovision and history.
